Hi a friend of mine wants to post some stuff on a few on line dating websites . she is 24 , has no job she got fired, broke up with her boyfriend who is also the father of her 5 year old son , dropped out of college and is still living with parents . why is she still living with parents , cause they are overprotective and because she "sinned " by having her child out of wedlock . the reason why her and her boyfriend broke up was because of this and he now denies the child as his . believe me people she did not sleep with anybody else . anyway she wants some one else so , so she is trying online dating after her mother said to her your will never have another man again and saying that she should act like me . i am bisexual , but back to my friend , so should she do this or not after what her parents are doing?

i think this story is bizarre and i really cannot offer any type of help on this except, i think your friend should prioritize her life. i don't think a date should be one of her first concerns...
just my own opinion!

Reply:No offense, I think that her priorities are mixed up. Truthfully, I think she should be more concerned about getting a job and filing child support for her son, AND THEN she can continue to date. Okay, if she had a job, and lived on her own, her parents' opinion really wouldn't matter, cause she is taking care of herself and her son. As for the jerk, just get a parenity test and leave him be. Until she unravels all that mess, then she could go for online dating.
