I'm in LOVE with a girl I met online. It is the most fulfilling relationship I ever had in my life, she might be the one.





And I didn't pay one cent for it.

Reply:Well for some people it works. My best friend was on EHarmony, and she met someone and they dated for awhile. I tried it too, and I didn't meet anybody. It just depends on the individual person.

Reply:I met my husband online. We've been married over 5 years. My sister also met her husband online and they've been married 6.5 years.

Reply:fact is if you cant meet some 1 locally somthings may be wrong with 1 or the other only good thing is the intrests are spelled out,, sexuely and daily intrests BUT thats still not everything as far as chemistry is concerned,,.. 1 nighters maybe ,,,but i think it's not a real good idea for most ppl
Reply:it doesn't work out my uncle married this girl off the net because he thought she got pregnant with him but it turnes out its not even his kid and now she's divorcing him and doing her best to get half his money, she was in it for the money all along, she flew out to cali took the baby the ring and ran up all his credit cards, don't do it.
Reply:I am married to a wonderful man that I met on-line, and someone that I wouldn't of met otherwise. I am sure it probably doesn't always work that way for everyone but did for me.

Reply:Trust me it's not gonna work. You are talking to people that you don't know. And nowadays with all these dam child rapers running around who knows what could happen? Relationships in where you don't see who you're talking to and don't know what they really look like are not going to work out. Most people would prefer real contact.
Reply:Meeting someone via the Internet is no different than any other social setting.... it's what happens AFTER you meet face-to-face that matters.

Reply:Wow I have met and dated alot of prople from online some work and some dont take for instant my ex of 3 years whom I met on ICQ decided to use me as a punching bag and I went to jail for defending myself so my advice to you or anyone thinking about it take it slowlyyyyyyyyyy get to know the person dont just jump in like I did so stupuidly. I have siome awesome friends who Ive been talking to for years.

Reply:My brother-in-law has been dating girls who he has met through on-line dating, actually Yahoo. He has met some really nice girls and seems to enjoy meeting people that way. (his wife, my sister, passed away a few years ago and he has had a time wanting to go out to meet people. so why not on line)

Reply:I dated one woman I met online. I don't think I'll ever do it again. I think it's very difficult to get to really know someone online because of the 'anonymity' factor. We all have the opportunity to represent ourselves in the best possible light, editing out undesirable qualities....which would otherwise probably be detected within the first few minutes of meeting someone in real life. I'm sure there are exceptions... I think you can tell more from a person's facial expressions in one minute, than you can from a hundred well written e-mails.

Reply:I think online dating is something that people do when they are unable to have a life of their own. Now, meeting someone online who lives nearby and starting a relationship with that person and later falling in love. That's fine. But I had a friend who "dated" a kid online for almost 4 years. They did eventually meet, but they had a lot of problems because where do you draw the line with online dating? I don't know. If its strickly online, its for people who don't have a life and really don't want one. If its one that develops into a REAL, personal relationship. That's a different story. But even yet, I'd caution meeting someone in real life that you've met online. Its still too dangerous.

Reply:Not sure what exactly you mean by online dating but I think meeting people online is very common nowadays. I've dated a few guys I met online and have made some friends by chatting online. I'm not married yet, but a friend of mine who is married met her husband online and I've heard similar stories. So it can work, you just have to know how to pick and choose! Good luck!
