I can't tell which of these online dating sites make sense anymore? They all look alike and seem to offer the same stuff? Does anyone use a site they'd recommend to meet a good guy - no one sex crazed, but actually interested in meeting someone and dating? also - it seems the paid sites must be better than the free ones? is this a good assumption? i'm assuming there are tons more options/people and services available on the paid sites?
finally - does online dating even work anymore? are any of the good guys out there even on these sites or do you assume only desperate, crazy women use them? :)
Does anyone use online dating sites? which one is safest to use?
check the tips in the previous answer at first.
And I suggest you try millionairecupid.com, this is the best dating service I've ever met. I mean their profile quality, customer service, and the honestness of the users, etc.
Reply:Try wealthymingle. I signed on to Wealthymingle.com on Saturday, July 14 and recieved a wink from someone that same day....I emailed him, then we began talking by phone. We hit it off so much so that we were talking daily for 2-3 hours a pop, as he was out of town on business. Report It
Reply:The safety of a dating site depends on how you approach it.
When I was dating online I had a few rules:
1. Never go out with a man unless he provides a photo. Show that photo to at least one good friend. That way you aren't the only one who knows what he looks like.
2. Goggle him! I Goggled my husband when we started communicating online. I helps to verify some of his claims.
3. Don't give him to much personal information initially, like the name of the company where you work, your place of worship, and -- for the love of God -- your home address.
4. Before you go out on the first date set up check in times with one friend. I used to call my friend before leaving for the date, at least once during the date, and on the drive home.
5. Don't get in his car. Your mother was right. Never get in the car with a stranger.
6. Use your common sense. If it doesn't feel right, it usually isn't right. You're smarter than you know.
Have a good time! I met my husband online. It can work sometimes.
