Tried online dating, now what?

I've given online dating, including eHarmony, a fair chance, over the last 2 1/2 years. Met many women from it, but nothing beyond a first date, they just weren't right for me for various reasons. I'm not ready to give up on dating in general, but I think I need new avenues. I'm just a 30 yo, single, Christian, professional male looking for a compatible woman for a relationship. I am a little shy, but only at first. Ideas on what to do or where to try next?

Tried online dating, now what?
Move away from the online stuff. Make yourself more available around town, like spend some time at a coffee shop or maybe at a barnes %26amp; noble. Make simple conversation with people you think would be a good candidate for you, and make sure they're single too!

Good luck.
Reply:You can always try meeting someone at church groups, the library, or social events.
Reply:Don't give up, in time you will find that someone.
Reply:I don't know, I thought that online dating is the last avenue too, but I went through the same thing...wish I know the answer to that, then I will be a rich girl.
Reply:The best place to meet a nice girl would be probably at your church singles group, at a gym, or maybe a grocery store or even taking walks at the park. Good luck...
Reply:Change your looks. Do something different with you weight or do something totally different with your hair. You Obviously need to change something different so you stop focusing on the negative part of yourself. If you look different, then you will perceive yourself as a different person and things will begin to change.
