Online dating questions?

Okay...do guys really like ladies they meet online, or do they just consider sex? What about those silly "winks"? When a guy sends you a wink does that mean, "Hey, I think you're cute", or "I'm not sure if you'll like me so let me play it safe, but I really hope you email me?"

I suck at dating, I think...I need some help.

Online dating questions?
You must be referring to Match if you're talking about winks. Personally, I feel they do so because its a safe way to let the person know that they are interested, hope they'll read their profile and if they like what they see, e-mail them. Other times I just think they are either too lazy to come up with something to say or are not sure what they should say when making a first contact.

When it comes to guys, it doesn't matter if they meet you online or out in the real world, the ultimate goal is sex, make no mistake about it. How far it will go or what the chances of it becoming a relationship will be determined through meeting in person, getting to know each other and if he finds other things about you which he likes besides your appearance, it can turn into something real.
Reply:i first look for the friend and if it leads to something more then so be it
Reply:A wink could mean that he's sort of interested, but you live very far away, aren't looking for his type, etc., so he wants to know if you are interested in him too before he goes any farther and spends any more time and energy pursuing you. Or else he's too lazy to write an e-mail. Or perhaps he can't think of anything to say. Or he is contacting so many people that he can't think of anything to say. Or he is too cheap to be a paying member of the website (winks are usually free; e-mails are not). Or maybe he's just shy.

Do guys really like the ladies that they meet on-line, or do they just want sex? It is just like meeting people in the real world. Different people want different things, so you have to ask.

Talk to someone on-line a few times before you meet. When you do meet, meet for the first time in a public place like a coffee shop, or a skating rink, etc.Don't give out your telephone number or home address until you are sure that you think that he is safe. And have another e-mail address, not your real one, for contacting people that you meet on-line. That way, you can abandon that e-mail address if someone starts to harass you with too many e-mails..
Reply:My goodness, stop please just stop looking so deep into things. A wink means, "I don't know what to say, but I am interested in you.....could you please initiate the conversation"

No, guys are not just looking for sex on these things. Well, some of them are. But you'll find out VERY early on that they are. Most guys are really truly looking for a relationship, they want to go out on dates.

On line dating is pretty cool. You can seriously take your time. You can correspond via e-mail for days or even weeks until you feel ready to meet that guy in person.

Sweetie, its just dating.
Reply:Here's the key you have been looking for.

Buy this book by David Lewis, on Reading body Language.

As for online dating, try the real dating sceen, you will meet people and have more fun doing so, it called natural dating.

The wink on those dating sites, just a way of saying hello, nothing more. The others are flirting (BS) set up by the site moderator.
Reply:if he send a wink that means hes interested in you if you wink back he will make the next move be careful some are out for games they may be married if he give you a # and you can call him to he might be ok
Reply:It depends on the guy. All guys want sex, but some want it in longer term relationships.

As for the winks, they serve to increase the customer's perception that their profile is being noticed and encourage them to pay for a membership.

I suggest using http://www.okcupid.com because it's free, and to get matched they have you answer funny and/or insightful questions. Since you have to answer at least 100 questions to get matched, the site weeds out lazy player types and fake profile makers.
Reply:Sorry, I have no clue what you are talking about. But, in relaity a wink means he is interested and usually is a very good sign.
Reply:So i don't really comprehend Wat Ur saying!? ha ha but um...i think i can help you with yoUr dating.
